A Meal, A Prayer, A Miracle: The Power of Small Acts of Kindness

In the heart of Ecuador, where many families struggle to afford even a single meal a day, a simple plate of food can be the difference between despair and hope.

During one of our outreach missions, we met Ana, a mother of three who had not eaten for two days so that her children could have the little food she managed to find. When we handed her a warm meal and prayed with her, tears filled her eyes—not just for the food, but because she felt seen, loved, and remembered by God.

This moment reminded us of John 6:35, where Jesus said, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry.”

A single act of kindness—a meal, a prayer, a conversation—can be a miracle in someone’s life. Will you be part of that miracle?
